Join "Theater for Social Change" with director, producer and playwright Stephen Cedars in an introduction to theatrical games and exercises that empower people to explore collective struggles, analyze their history and present circumstances, and then experiment with inventing a new future together.

Stephen Cedars is a director, producer and playwright whose work has involved creating and producing community programming in south Brooklyn designed with and for communities undergoing neighborhood change, funded through the Brooklyn Arts Council. His plays have been published by Original Works and Indie Theatre Now. Amongst his awards are the Theater Masters Visionary Playwright Award and Commission, a Fellowship with the Target Margin Institute for Collaborative Theater Making, a Residency with America-in-Play, and the John Golden Playwriting Prize.
