Please join Dr. Brown’s HIST 307 Monumental Debates course as they welcome Associate Professor Emily Knox from the School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  Dr. Knox will be discussing her book—Book Banning in 21st Century America—and current efforts underway across the nation to restrict reader access.  Prof. Knox received her PhD from the Rutgers University School of Communication & Information and her Masters in Library and Information Science from the iSchool at Illinois.  She also holds a BA in Religious Studies from Smith College and a Masters in Religious Studies from The University of Chicago Divinity School.
