Mission
Hillel at Marymount Manhattan College's purpose is to promote the advancement of Jewish students and the Jewish community at Marymount Manhattan College. This means first and foremost we create a safe space for our members to hold discussions about antisemitism present and past that is based on the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's working definition of antisemitism. It also means that we teach students how to navigate antisemitism in our communities (MMC, NYC, and beyond!). Second is that we provide a fun, comfortable way for students to celebrate Jewish holidays, even when they are not home. Through our celebrations of Jewish tradition, we invite non-Jewish members of the MMC community to join us in order to learn about their Jewish peers and of course sample mouthwatering Jewish cuisine! Our final priority is to help our members develop their Jewish identity through our events and to take pride in their Jewish heritage!

Membership Benefits
Hillel at Marymount Manhattan College is a fun safe space focusing on Judaism. We celebrate Jewish holidays with parties, learn about Jewish history, and eat lots of tasty food! Through our Tikkun Olam Community Service Initiative, we engage in meaningful work to help community members in need.
