In the "From Student Leading to Community Organizing", Trainer and Organizing Expert Gabriel Tanglao is going to lead us in a session focusing on the next levels and steps of leadership and how to impact communities with the skills you have gained in your roles at MMC.

Our Facilitator serves as Associate Director for the Office Human & Civil Rights, Equity and Governance with the New Jersey Education Association, which represents a statewide membership of over 200,000 educators. He is focused on transforming public schools through movement-building for racial equity, affirmation, and literacy. Advancing educational equity through organized labor has enabled Gabriel to honor a tradition of Filipino ancestors fighting for justice as union leaders. His journey started humbly after serving as Senator for a student organization in College.
