Our community is at the heart of everything at Hillel at Marymount Manhattan College. We emphasize building a κÎöÎÖΣÎö κÎôÎòήÎö (kehila kedosha) holy community. We foster a community of kind-heart, thoughtful, intelligent and talented students who align themselves with any aspect of Judaism or the Jewish religion.
The purpose of this organization shall be to promote the advancement of Jewish students and the Jewish community at Marymount Manhattan College, to share Jewish culture and rituals both with Jewish students and the larger student body, and to combat antisemitism in and around our community. We aim to combat antisemitism on campus as the term is outlined in the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's working definition of antisemitism, to spread positive knowledge and awareness about Jewish people, Judaism, and the State of Israel throughout the MMC community, and to help empower Jewish students to become increasingly in touch and take pride in their heritage.
